Results of the XXIV International Fur Auction (April 22, 2026)

From year to year, buyers at spring auctions are less active than at winter auctions, and a decrease in the sales rate and average price is a traditional trend.

The auction (April 22, 2026), which was marked by unprecedented interest in sable pelts, was intriguing: would this momentum continue or would there be a decline?

Despite conflicting market conditions – with growth in the Asian market and stagnation in the European market – we are confident that the April auction achieved excellent results.

Observers note that although the average price is slightly lower than in January, it still provides a strong incentive for trappers planning to harvest furs in the next season.
