International Fur Fashion Exhibition 2025 was held in Yuyao City (China) from August 8 to 10. Chinese manufacturers of fur products and fur brokers were represented at the exhibition.
Our auction house prepared a booth representing Russian goods.
We also held meetings with those Chinese manufacturers who either had not worked with sable before, or had not purchased it directly at an auction. We were also glad to meet our loyal customers.
In addition to the presenting of the participants' booths, the exhibition featured a solemn ceremony of the signing of an agreement on a cooperation between Russian and Chinese colleagues working with natural materials. The exhibition organizers and their partners also highlighted an importance of cooperation with Russian businesses in general, as well as with specific representatives. In particular, the Ruspushnina auction house was awarded an honorary prize.
The event ended with a gala fashion show that captured the attention of the Chinese fashion industry. At the show among others there were a large number of products with a complex and original pattern made of skins and their patches.
We would like to point out that the main material traditionally used for the production of fur products in China is mink. However, today, manufacturers looking for new markets and innovative solutions use a wide variety of fur materials. As a result, sable is gaining popularity in China, forming a new trend that we have noted during the February exhibition in Hong Kong.
